Lane Forty Organics started with a simple idea — that every good product has an honest beginning.

Lane Forty is a nod to the farmers and producers behind every item we offer. Somewhere down a small Australian laneway, farm or production facility, each product begins its journey — and eventually finds its way to homes across Adelaide.

We exist to make that journey simpler, more transparent and more intentional.

Organic Standards

We only source products that are either:

  • certified organic, or

  • made using certified organic agricultural ingredients

This allows us to support small, values-aligned producers while maintaining high standards around growing practices, inputs, and transparency.

Every product is chosen carefully — not for volume, trends, or convenience — but because it aligns with how we believe food should be produced and handled.

Our Sourcing Philosophy

We are strictly Australian-grown and Australian-made.

Every agricultural ingredient in every product we stock is grown in Australia — always.
This includes all produce, grains, meat, dairy, and other farmed ingredients.

Some non-agricultural components, such as salt or natural cultures used in traditional food-making, may be sourced from elsewhere where no Australian-grown alternative exists. These ingredients are not grown and do not compromise our commitment to Australian agriculture.
